Founded in 2020 by dentist and investor Dr. James Martin, Dentists Who Invest is a thriving community of dentists who have a keen interest in growing and sharing their knowledge on finance and wealth.
Through the Dentists Who Invest platform, James makes his broad knowledge of investing easy to understand, tangible and accessible by serving this community with an expansive repertoire of resources.

In 2020, I launched the Dentists Who Invest Facebook group as a way to connect with other dentists eager to understand and master the world of money. What started as a small network quickly grew into a thriving community of like-minded professionals. People saw the community as a trusted resource where they exchange ideas and learn. This is where DWI began and it soon expanded and grew onto other platforms including this website”
James explains the driving force behind this movement:
“The whole purpose of the DWI community is to bring freedom of choice to its members. Understanding money allows us to buy back our time and break the link between time and money. It’s all about empowerment and making smarter financial decisions.”
